EMSS will never willfully disclose individually identifiable information about its customers to any third party without first receiving that customer's express permission. EMSS will not sell, give, share, or disclose any specific personal/confidential information requested in the course of using this site or E3. EMSS shall disclose information where it is legally obliged to do so in terms of the laws of the appropriate legal authority.

Contact Information You Provide Us and How It’s Used

When you supply us with your postal or e-mail address or telephone number on our website online, you may receive periodic mailings or telephone contact from us with information on new products or services. If you do not wish to receive such mailings or contact, please call us or write us at the telephone number or address shown on your account statement. Please provide us with your exact name, street and e-mail address. Even if you make this choice, we may still send you e-mail to notify you about online statements available or other information.

For the purpose of registering for an E3 account (EMSS’ Customer portal), we ask to validate your Customer Number, last 4 of your SSN for individual/Federal ID Number for business, Date of Birth that we have on file. We also ask for certain information such as first name, last name, and e-mail address when you register for an E3 account. As part of the registration process we will ask you to create a user account, select security questions and provide answers, select an account image, provide an account phrase, as well as a password. We may also retain any messages we receive from the E3 portal. We use this information to operate, maintain, and possibly enhance the features and functionality of the E3 portal.

E-mails

We preserve your e-mail address, our response and the original content of your e-mail for a period of time so we can efficiently handle any follow-up questions you may have. Regular Internet e-mail is not a secure form of communication. Any information sent via e-mail should be of a non-sensitive and non-confidential nature.

Web-based Cookies

EMSS uses cookies to store customer preference information on the use of our site and to facilitate access to restricted web pages during a single online session. A session cookie (or ‘session variable’) is used to authenticate your login information on E3.

Our web servers automatically collect limited information reported by your web browser each time you access this site or E3. These server logs may include anonymous information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the Service, domain names, pages viewed, and other such information. The E3 site itself also logs general actions performed by users on the system.
